The TreesCharlotte program allows city residents to receive 2 free trees (per address), learn how to plant them, sign a pledge to care for their "adopted trees", and help the city reach its goal of 50% tree canopy. The tree adoption events are held throughout the year covering specified zip codes during each, donations are appreciated to keep the program running but not required. Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
